Family Reading Night

Due to the Illinois state budget impasse, the Illinois State Library will not be able to print the November 2016 Family Reading Night posters and bookmarks. These materials are available for download below. If printing and distribution from the Secretary of State's Office is possible for Family Reading Night 2017, an order form will be made available on this web page. Please check this web page and E-News, the State Library’s weekly newsletter, regularly for program updates.

Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event held the third Thursday in November to encourage families to spend quality time reading together. It is sponsored by the Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White and Illinois Center for the Book. The next Family Reading Night will be November 17, 2016.
